Hours of Operation:
Kiddie Cottage Child Care (KCCC) will be open weekdays, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, KCCC will make the decision to close the center or have a late opening. Safety is our number one priority, the parking lot and sidewalks will be cleared ASAP so we can be available for our working parents. Parents/guardians will be notified by phone, email or local television regarding the center closing in the event of inclement weather.
Kiddie Cottage will be closed in observance of the following holidays:
• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (should it fall on a Saturday, we will close on the Friday before. If it falls on a Sunday, the center will be closed on Monday.
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday
• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
Should an observed holiday fall on a Saturday we will close the Friday before. If it falls on a Sunday the center will be closed the Monday after.
Emergency Preparedness and Inclement Weather Policy:
KCCC has an evacuation plan in place for fire and other emergencies. These plans will be practiced monthly.
Everyone who enters Kiddie Cottage Child Care will be buzzed in by an appropriate staff member. All children are required to be signed in by a parent/guardian at drop off and signed out at pick up.
As part of our security system, each classroom as well as the playground area has a camera installed which will be recording 24 hours a day. Parents will be able to access and view the classrooms/playground via an app on their IPhone, Android or computer.
Please know that the use of the cameras, are for security purposes only and parents' piece of mind.
Each of our employees, as well as the owners/operators have gone through an FBI criminal history investigation based upon fingerprint identification. They have also had a background check through the local Department of Child Protection Services. Each individual must be cleared through these departments prior to entering the building as an employee.
